Until today, I thought they were both the same band...
They have the same exact style, lyric themes, music style and singing voices...they also both came out at the same time...
Another common quality they share is the shittness...they are both equally shitt...

Panic at the Disco was originally a cover band that played songs by Blink-182. But they are especially infamous for covering "Karma Police" by Radiohead.
I think they are just another dull band without real talent that writes cliche lyrics about nonsense.

Hi there, I just laugh about my past 3 years of panic now. I was not able to go anywhere without carrying xanax. Fear of having another attack was the most important subject of my days. When i first found joe barry's web site i started to cry because of my happiness.

they do have the same style...****. both bands are terrible, altho Panic is prolly worse. Fall out Boy has a more punk rock sound while Panic has very very annoying stop n go style, both emo and very very shitty.

they don't sound the same. pete wentz did "discover" panic! but they are different. if you actually listen to panics! cd, the first half is kinda like fall out boy (but still different) and the second half involves more piano and even a little bit of techno. if you would open your eyes (and ears) you would realize that they are different, but somewhat similar. (you know, the whole genre thing. whatever.)

i don't think of they sound an identical. comparable, sure. yet not fairly same. in case you pay attention to them sufficient (at your individual threat) you would be conscious adjustments. and particularly now, with Panics new album, they sound much less comparable. yet, as others have reported, one similarity could be the undeniable fact that they are rubbish. it is my opinion, even nonetheless.
