Well, there's 28grams in an ounce and 16 ounces in a pound. So, to find the answer set up the question like so...
(28g/1oz) x (16oz/1lb) x (1kg/1000g) = xkg/lb
Just multiply all of the tops together, then multiply all of the bottoms together, finally divide the top value you found by the bottom value to get your answer. This way all of the terms will cancel out to give you kilograms per pound.
