I already know about A Perfect Circle, and I don't want any wannabes. I want people that are as hard and yet harmonious as Tool.

You're right. There isnt anything else like Tool. They are just too clever and unique.
So I dont listen to any other band in their catagory (except for APC). But I do listen to the Mars Volta. Very clever lyrics and the guitar is awesome as well.

Oh yeah, Children Of Bodom is spectacular.

Rascal Flatts are country.

Wtf?

Unearth can be harmonious at times, but they are HEAVY shitt. All That Remains is harmonious. So is Avenged Sevenfold. And Black Label Society and Disturbed.

Children of Bodom is harmonious instrument-wise if you don't mind screaming. Iron Maiden is really good although at times soft. System of a Down is damn good. There are a billion. You could also use pandora and put Tool in as one of your stations.

Mike Patton's music (mostly Tomahawk) can be just as intricate, though his voice gets worse and worse with age, I think.

King Crimson.

If you don't mind knowing what's being sung, try Meshuggah.

But yeah, the Pandora thing is a good idea.

If you want harmonious music, then I suggest you look into progressive metal, like Opeth, and Between the Buried and Me, although Between the Buried and Me is rather metalcore as well.

Metallica.
Hands down.

Well I suppose they aren't too harmonious but I'd go with Audioslave then.
