Pistachio (Pistachia Vera) was believed to be first cultivated in Central Asia. Its tree is up to 10 m tall. Plants -> flowers->fruits-> nuts. Legend has it that lovers who stand under a pistachio tree at night and hear the nuts popping open will have good luck.

From the Pistacia, a small tree which is a member of the anacardiacaea family. It is native to Southern Europe and, in North America, Texas and Mexico.
