Just like with any type of birth control (pill, shot, etc.) it all depends on your body. Some women take up to a year to get a normal cycle back and some may only take a month. It also depends on how long you were on it. It will take a month or so for all the "fake" hormones to leave your body. If you are trying to conceive, definitely wait a month before really trying. This will give your body time to adjust and get back to it's normal cycle and decrease a high-risk pregnancy.

It usually takes 3 cycles for your body to rid itself of the hormones introduced by Ortho Evra. If you aren't regular by the 6th month and you were regular prior to the contraception, see you Dr.

It usually takes 28 days, for your menstral cycle to return to normal after taking birth control. It is best to let your Doctor know that you want to stop taking any type of birth control, because he will know the best thing to do for you. (Good luck!)
