DON"T send her a dime. She is scamming you. A few people have tried to scam me out of money, but I always said I was broke and could not send money. Received different reactions when I told them that. Usually, I just didn't hear from them again, but sometimes they would get rude and hostile. The she is probably a he. Also, I just have a personal rule against sending money to people. It simply states: I don't send money to relatives, friends or anyone.
Finally, do not cash any checks "she" might send to you, they are most likely fake and you would be the one to go to jail for it.

First off if you aren't the best of friends I wouldn't be sending her anything. Why on earth would it be your place to do this? Did you watch Dr. Phil last week when he had a show on about people in Nigeria taking money from people in the U.S.? Who knows what she has gotten herself into. I am a very caring and giving person but I would be very careful. You just never know. Good luck!

If this woman cannot afford to pay her expenses in Nigeria she should come home. It sounds like rotten fish to me...

Why would you unless she is a relative or close friend. Doesn't make sense to me. Tell her to take more money next time she leaves the country.

Talk to American Express. They have offices in many locations. You can send money to your friend c/o A.E. .... provided there's a local office.
If not - your banker might suggest another alternative.
Good luck.

I wouldn't even bother helping her. If she want to go in a trip, she should be ready financially--and not bug you.
