i have got to calculate a 7 year mean trend for temperatures, i only have a yearly mean trend and a graph to work from

Working from a SCATTER GRAPH? - Just go up the MEDIAN (mid point) of the X AXIS, and repeat for the Y AXIS, draw line across and where they cross is the average for the grapth.

I.e if the x axis is out of 40 , draw a line UP at 20.
if the y axis is out of 200 draw across at 100.
