Slavery Question (Im native american)?

How come native americans never complained but the blacks to, is it just there insecurities? Dont get me wrong I dont agee with slavery but, they are still crying about it after 150 years, the native americans don't, im native american, i forgive the whiteman not hate him like blacks do.

Beside blacks were oppress as slaves and free. Your talking about something that end centuries ago. Blacks were still and oppress and discrinminatied against even today. Ever here of Segregation and Jim Crow. Well their is much more to that than just racism, and case it was pure evil and terrorism think of the holocaust but last 100 years.

I think you make an extremely valid point. I often feel sorry that some blacks still carry resentment and anger around with them about the past. What they don't seem to realise, is that their attitude perpetuates a vicious circle, whereby whites continue to see them in a less than favourable light because of their attitudes. However, having said that, the black experience is quite different from the native american experience and we would each have to live it in order to truely understand. I was going to suggest that it maybe the strength of the native american's spiritual beliefs that have carried them through, but I also believe that black people generally have extremely strong faith. What it may come down to, is that the native american people are basically peace-loving reflective souls who choose to settle conflicts by thinking and listening to their instinct, not their egos. This and other qualtites have kept them strong yet loving towards all humankind.

I'm also native American. But look at what the black man gets and what the native American man gets. Native Americans have reserves their own rights they can receive houses, new cars, cheaper if not free schooling, cheaper tobacco, etc, and the governments bend over backwards to please them because of it being their land or an ancient burial ground or something to that extent. I have never heard of a black mans reserve have you?

They have to because if not then they don't have anyone to blame for their problems. They will never stop this and move on. The thing they need to realize is that many white Americans never owned slaves prior to the Civil War. Good ?

You're complaining too, but not against the ones that hurt your race, but against African American's who were victims too. Don't hate.
