okay- my parents bought me an ipod nano for my birthday, and this was in may. a couple of days later school was out and me my 1 little bro and aunt were in giant eagle. she forgot to lock her car, and i tought i had my ipod in my purse. but i really forgot it on the seat, and we parked beside a car full of teens. we (me n my bro) were at art class, and i went to see wat time it was, and i couldn`t find it. we called the police, my aunt had everyone including herself tore her car apart, but no one found it. we told my mom, and she got angry, but when she heard how it happened, she calmed down. and then two weeks ago, my friends found a ipod nano with the same color case as mine at a high school game. they also found $50 which i also lost. then a few days later mt mom decided that she would get us (me n my 2 bros) our own ipod nanos for x-mas. i don`t know if it`s right. i mean i like the idea, and it wasn`t my fault i lost it. but still... what do you think?

Well, i'm not sure if your asking if it's right for her to buy you a new one or that your friends found one. Anycase, if your mom does buy you one you should be very thankful because those things arn't cheap. Why don't you offer to pay half? Mishaps happen all the time, but I guess through out life you have to learn. Also if you did leave it in the car that's not a good place to leave it so in a sense it's partially your own fault.

consiering ipod nanos aren't really that expensive there was no need, not to be rude in any way, to call the police if your friends found it with money you lost......hmmmmm...how the hell could that be a coeincidence it was yours and if your "friends" didn't give it back thats F'd up anyway you should get yours back and let your mom buy the ones for your brother.....over..and....out

did you check to see if the iPod had the same music on it that you had on it originally? it could jsut be a coincidence, but depending on the case, it probably wasnt. if it was a case that a lot of people had, it could jsut be a misunderstanding. a good case to get for your new iPod is ifrogz. you get to choose all of the colors, and it's pretty much impossible that someone could have the same case as yours. they also have screenz and stuff to decorate them with. the website is www.ifrogz.com good luck!

I am so much dumber for having read your question. so your mom bought you a nano, you lost it and she's buying you another one for christmas. Let me guess, you picked your nose with an electric drill when you were a kid? I'm right aren't I?

If you didn't tell your mother that the pod was found and returned to you, then it would be wrong to accept a new from her. Just tell her the truth. You don't need a new one if the other one is working.
Tell your mom to just buy one for your brothers.

I think that if your friend was a real friend she would give it to you and then give your mom the 50 dollar so she is getting paid back part of the money that she spent on it!!!
