I am kissing 270 now. I wonder if there is a connection between laziness and being fat. What do you think?

Yep, there sure is a connection. The food you are eating, I'm assuming it isn't too healthy, is making you gain weight. However, what you might not know is that it is also making you tired and listless, thus making you lazy. Alot of food that taste good are high in carbohydrates which are often converted to sugar in the body and create that "high" & "low" that comes with eating sugar. Cut back on the carbs for a few days and you will notice the difference. You will have a headache for a few days but just work through it and it will be worth it! Good Luck!

Just because one is fat does not mean one is lazy. Of course it may seem the case many times. I know of many who are overweight but are not lazy. Skinny people can be quite lazy too! I have a friend who is that way. This is just a stereotype from an anti fat society. Of course in your situation only you can know, so if you feel bad then start exercising :)

Your attitude would be more involved than your weight factor. I was married for more than 20 years to a woman that was well over 300 lbs.. she was not lazy. I know of many others who work very hard... and it is much harder for them to work than a slim person.. yet they do it because of an attitude. They value themselves and what they are capable of doing. Suggesting the thought, perhaps you need to look at the mental picture you have of yourself. Then deal with it!!

Somewhat, the weight probably makes it harder to get around and if you're letting yourself just laze around then you're not helping. Even going for a daily walk give tons back-you get what you give works in regards to our energy levels.

Definately, it takes more work to move your big body around so you make excuses as to keep from moving so you don't get out of breath...
