i am from delhi india.i think that the material printed in news papers and the songs of others are copyrighted.can i legally use newspaper clippings and pieces of others songs in chargable training session conducted by me?if yes. how?

If you use the clippings and other material for academic purposes (even chargable) then they are all right. You don't need permission from anybody. If you are using them by mentioneing the source and the true author of the work then even then it is OK. Otherwise what on earth is the purpose of a newspaper.

This is a legal question and you have to be more explicit. Material printed in newspapers, if it is news, is not copyrighted as it is in the public domain. As far as songs are concerned, if you use only a few seconds (how many seconds is defined in Indian law), there is no charge. But if you want more, you have to pay the person who holds the rights.
