I know a lot of people who had abortions because they thoughty they were too young, then later started a family. I also know people who had abortions because they did not want any more kids. What do you tell the sibs of the aborted baby?

The best thing to tell anyone about abortion is that it is a process that God created and that a loving God does not kill a life in the abortion process. Then I would explain the tactic of the pro life mentality where killing doctors and bombing clinics is acceptable. I would explain that in the sick minds of the pro life movement, they believe their God kills in abortion. I would then tell the kids that they do not have to believe in a God that kills in abortion. I would explain that the same God that Kills in abortion also sickens the minds of humans such that those humans believe they have an inside line to God. They believe that they have the right to take away the free will God has given. And then I would ask them to read some of the sick questions that the pro life movement poses. I believe that doing the above will quickly dispell any "points" that the pro life movement has made by asking such sick and distorted questions.

Don't tell them. If they are young they may not understand, and kids think about things differently than we do. That is something that you and you alone should know about. It is hard enough I would think to for you to have remember the choice you made.

I told my daughter that I had been pregnant once 11 years before she came along. I told her the circumstances concerning my abortion. I did not use "emotional" terms because none were necessary.

You don't tell them. What happened in the past is in the past - and you would only upset them and open up a Pandora's box. Besides - they wouldn't be "sibs" unless you married the same man who got you pregnant - they would have been "half-sibs."

Best thing, don't get abortion then this question will not worry you. You know even if you keep your mouth shut, alot of times, kids find out different ways. It is really astounding how much of your past surfaces later in life.

Well those who have abortions are usually selfish so I can't see them telling their other children that mommy had an abortion unless of course she is so prochoice and wants to make sure her children are too

these people are stupid. if they don't want to get pregnant, then they should be using some kind of birth control. abortion is NOT a form of birth control. i would tell the kids that mommy is an idiot and can't prevent something before it is too late.
