You need to look into B.B. King the only song I can think of right now is The Thrill is Gone. That's probably not good wedding music it is a good slow dance though.

"Here and Now" by Luther Vandross. It is sort of a crossover from R&B to pop. Very popular at weddings between 1989 and the early 90's.
