the two. some are moth larvae, and a few are butterfly larvae. Sorry, yet i'm undecided which one you have have been given there. attempt doing a Yahoo seek of "butterflies" collectively with the section or state you reside in. I had solid success some years back figuring out a caterpillar i might stumbled on by potential of looking "Orange County butterflies." My caterpillar became into orange with black spines and ended up being a Mourning Cloak butterfly, pointed out on an area butterfly website. desire your learn is fruitful!

Been there! My problem was bird seed in a can in the house but the little buggers can come from most anything especially boxed food items. They lay eggs in little pouches very welll concealed in you house and then they hatch and start all over again.
Clean all your cabinets really good! If you keep any of the food seal it in plastic bags until you use it up. You will still see the buggers off and on for a while because the eggs will still hatch from egg sacks hidden all over your house. Just keep an eye for them and kill asap. After about a month you should be ok.

Moths and all insects really hate cedar wood, so that's a good thing to scatter around your kitchen. Also tar is a good repellent if you can get it.

I know this sounds crazy but one of the best repellents of bugs and insects is Bounce fabric softener sheets. On the PGA golfers tour they put sheets of Bounce in their back pockets to repell mosquitoes. There are several uses for the sheets and they are all geared toward repelling.
