iv been doin weight exercises for the past 5 weeks now, concentrating from my bs, to lats, iv also stopped eating junk food for the sam time, i havnt even had a single crisdk or chocolate bar, yet my stomch is out of proportion to the rest of my upper body, it sticks out, considering im working towards a visible six pack its not going to good, any suggestions as to y this might b wood b gr8

I don't know but I work out all the time, I have an athletic body but my stomach always sticks out a little bit.. And I'm not fat - I'm 13% body fat. Some people have different body type builds.

The Navy Seal Workout : The Compete Total-Body Fitness Program - By Mark DeLisle (I personally know him and he is an excellent trainer!) You'll notice that when you start up on the first or second week of training that it only has a few repititions in it.. Don't take notice to them, when I was in his fitness class he had us do each workout for one minute each.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we did abdominal workouts and lower body.

Tuesday and Thursday was all upper body working out.

And on the same Wednesday you'd do your lower body and abdominal workouts on, we also did cardio.

Basically you need to do each workout for one minute straight (Like when you're doing leg lifts, do it for one continuous minute. Same goes for all other aspects of it). I have a workout schedule I made for myself - I'll e-mail it to you if you'd like. Just let me know.

Losing stomach fat is the hardest thing. Sometimes when you work out your stomach might even get bigger because when you are working your ab muscles the muscles under the fat will expand and become stronger, but that will just push the fat out. It takes time and patience to lose tummy fat. Plus, you can't just concentrate on weight exercises. The only way to lose tummy fat is burning calories. That means cardio. Besides, if you are focusing on stomach exercises, and have been doing it for five weeks, you probably already have a six pack, it's just hidden under the fat. Those exercises only work the muscle, it doesn't really do anything to the fat. Your best bet, and any athletic trainer would agree, would be to rotate your exercises. One day cardio, one day weights, one day cardio, and so on. Doing exercises six days, and one rest day to let your muscles rest. If you keep up this routine, and the diet, you should see results.
