my best guess is in 25-50 years india will be the world leader no doubt but until then america will be on the top

Sure they will. They're an important power right now.
Why? Because some of their people have overcome a lot of hardship by hard work and study, something that a lot of Americans are unwilling to do. Some Indian nationals begin preparing for a managerial career very early and spend most of their waking hours in preparation. The ones who don't make it into THEIR top schools go to MIT in the U.S. Many have taken high managerial positions in American companies.

It was reported on ABC (Australian Broadcasting Coorporation) That if India keeps up with the growth as it is for the next 100 years it will still struggle to feed all its people. It still would not be able to provide living standards that developed countries enjoy and it will not keep up with the growth in the next decade as new economies like Brazil emerge.

Yes if the USA allows itself to fall.
it is already the world's largest democracy. They should be able to parlay that experience and the favorable opinion most people have of it.
they are academics and engineers, They graduate 450 000 every year compared to 330 000 for China.
They must come to a long term peace with Pakistan before this will come to pass.
The prognosis is good.

yes, now india leads the world in most number of HIV positive cases 5.7 million plus.
yes, india will lead is IT industry.
by 2040 india will be 3rd in world, while china no 1, US no 2 but eventually india will collapse due to lot of internal problems

Oh yaah. The trick is working. Just get out of your cocoon and have a look at China. Everybody including Infosys, Wipro, Tatas are investing in China. This will never work with these politicians.

Tough call, they are the largest population and a staggoring economy. And yet last time i heard the figure was 40% or more live beneath the poverty line. They operate on a class system, so I would think that at least with such high poverty levels, that would deter their moral standing with the world.
