Anything that causes him harm, but praying over him and with him everyday I have complete faith that God will protect him and his will will be done!

I think all of it is a fear. You want whats best for your child but knowing what's out there is scary. I hope that I can instill enough self confidence in my child that he'll know what's right and wrong and hopefully leave communication open so he'll be able to talk to me about things like violence and peer pressure. Not to mention I hope I instill enough fear of what will happen :) that he thinks before he acts.

i think my biggest fear would be my children not living. not seeing the world and loving and learning to love and letting themselves love....all those things you metioned aren't going anywhere, so why are you going to stress over them, i don't mean forget about them, but we can't prevent our children from being peer-pressured and eventually being effected by all those things. i think my biggest fear would be if my children played it too safe......if they didn't try and didn't believe in themselves enough to try. kids need to live and experience everything, just like we do...have you ever hesitated on doing something because you were afriad of failure or rejection? and then did it and it was wonderful? and even if you did fail/get rejected- didn't you learn something? that is what life is about: living, loving and learning about life and love.....just love your children and show them that jumping isn't always a bad thing. if you teach them the 'right' values-whatever they may be for you and your family, then you need not worry so much about all of those other things, because your children will know the right way to deal with them in the world.

I have to agree with Job
Job 1:5 And it would occur that when the banquet days had gone round the circuit, Job would send and sanctify them; and he got up early in the morning and offered up burnt sacrifices according to the number of all of them; for, said Job, “maybe my sons have sinned and have cursed God in their heart.” That is the way Job would do always.
You can work your way through most problems in raising your children, but cursing God in their hearts is the biggest fear I have.

For him? It would be dying and not being around to take care of him. My son is autistic but he is also telepathic. He sends messages into my brain and this is how I know what he needs ~ because he was born from me, and I fear noone else will pick up his messages and won't get what he needs.
My son is my world, in a different aspect than God is my world. Because God created me, but thereby creating my son. And my life without him? God , give me the strength to deal with whatever lies ahead.

fear...everything that a parent can possibly think of....whether it be a chronic death illness or a minor one...but for me the worst fear ....is NOT KNOWING....
....when they go out at nite ....passed curfew...and no phone call...NOT KNOWING what has happened, thats when our mind spins (wreck, drunk, drugs, violence, run away, sex, etc etc)..
...fate ..Illness...yes fear...but different...one learns..has options and we cope...
...world catastrophy/disasters...fear...uncontrollable...but we deal with it.
worst fear for me...is NOT KNOWING where your kids are...and as a parent sits and watches the minutes go by...the fear can tear a person up inside and out.
if any parent has gone thru this...you will know what i am talking about...when they finally walk in the door...(crude but true) your grateful that they are just alive and in your eyesight...anything else ....can be dealt with.
hugz and kisses

All of the above are my biggest fears... Children don't come with any instructions, so you always have to be on your toes about all those subjects... If you're giving them the right advice, If they are listening etc....

ALL THE ABOVE!
I did my very best to raise them. Once they walk out the door... I can only cross my fingers and hope it all stuck and they they will always use good judgement. And of course be safe...
