It differs with each comic.

Follow Action Comics, he doesn't age per say, but he can definitely be hurt or killed.

Batman, a mortal has had brutal fights and hurt him, so he's not immortal.

Yes he is and so are alot of other Dc Characters who die and come back from the Dead like Hal Jordan Green Lantern if you have noticed he's still getting used to being a Green Lantern again after being overtaken by Parralax and the Spector. But yes Superman has come back from the dead once when he was killed by Doomsday and then followed the origins of Superboy,Steel, and The Eradicator who did not last very long but you can probably find this Graphic Novel at your local Barnes and Noble or other Bookstore. Just tell them you are looking for a Graphic Novel where Superman dies which is probably form the 1980's Time Era.

I believe that he ages at about half to one third speed of normal people now that he has reached maturity.

In the Batman Beyond Cartoon Bruce Wayne is pushing 80, and recruits, or gets Terry McGuiness as the new Batman. Terry joins the JLA on a mission and gets to work with Superman, who looks to be maybe just into his fifties.

Assuming that Batman Beyond exists in the same universe as Superman the Animated Series, and Bruce is at most 5 years older than Clark. a 75 year old Superman who ages like humans should have more than grey temples.

One could also assume that his powers, much like human senses would also dull with age so even if old age doesnt get him he may be weakened enough for other attacks to do the damage.

Omg I can't stand some of you tards. I don't know if he is immortal or not but you people that say hes NOT because he can die from kryopto or whatever make me want to scream and really need to understand what immortality is. All it means is if you were allowed to live your life without harm then you'd live forever. Like vampires, all of you morons would be saying they are immortal but yet they can still be killed... omg im sorry its just that stupidity kills me. Anyway my personal belief is he IS immortal as long as he doesn't die from whatever and was allowed to live in peace AND as long as the sun keeps regenerating him. Oh and I didn't write this for those of you that said hes not because that's ok you think that, cause yall said hed die of old age. Its whatever though I hope at least some of you feel what im saying...cya

yes considering in the comics hes over several thousand years old and with him constantly absorbing the energy of the yellow sun he age slower and slower, and eventually he will be immune to kryptonite. as long things like doomsday doesnt kill him again but for a purposes if Superman didnt worry about enemies or kryptonite hes live longer than any superhero except for maybe one or 2.

No, Doomsday killed Superman, which led up to the Reign of the Supermen comics. These comics featured characters like Steel, Superboy, The Last son of Krypton, and the cyborg Superman. The cyborg Superman (which was an exact DNA match to Superman) is how they brought him back. (at least I think that's how they did it)

The idea of superman, for the most part, yes is invincible, as long as there is sunlight. With sunlight, without kryptonite, he is completely invulnerable. I'm sure he still ages though. So I believe he can die of old age in eventuality.

No, he died before in the comics but they brought him back. Doomsday killed him in a huge, multi issue series. I don't remember how exactly they brought him back, but he has died. Oh yeah, it wasn't from kryptonite either. It was just a really tough battle in which they killed eachother at the end.

I guess so since he's still battling out superheroes in the comic books from what I hear.
