I was older than most. I was in my early 20s, but I lived in areas where driving was more or less absurd (highly congested areas, nowhere to park, great public transportation, heavy fines for parking along the curbs, etc). Prior to that, I lived relatively close to everyplace I needed to be--school, work, etc, and buying a car would have just been another pointless expense.

19 and I didn't want it then! I want people to drive me around. I know I was the most unusual kid of the block.
It was better then my mom's friends. She was 59 when she got her license's. How scary is that!
