I was 12. I mowed about a dozen lawns in the summer,raked those same lawns in the fall,and shoveled snow in the winter.Then at age 15 I also started working at a car wash/gas station.(you remember the old full service days?)

I was actually 12 years old, and I worked for my grandfather at his carlot for minimum wage, cash under the table. I did inventory, cleaned and occasionally watched the place while he was out. I did this for 10 years, no matter if I had another job or not.
