There is evedience to suggest that our universe has intelligent design and that humans cannot travel past the moon. Is it true we were cast down here as punishment? Is Heaven the place that we go to once we have learned and we are free? Or is it all bull?

Depends on your perspective. It's practically the only place in space that supports life. So maybe it's a prison for all living things. But it provides a lot of goodies for us, like water and a mild climate compared to all the other planets out there. Unfortunately, that could all change. If global warming gets worse, there won't be any escape from all the bad weather in the future.

Maybe, our souls all go somewhere after we die. I think the best book to read is Talking to Heaven by James Vanpraug the producer of Ghost Whisperer.

Planet Earth, I'm sure, is a prison to some. This earth was given to us to take care of. Needless to say, we aren't doing a very good job. But 'prison'? Your own mind can be a prison.
