Start researching the college that you want to go to NOW. Have your mom take you there, walk around a bit and check it out. This will help you to be more relaxed about it. Research it online too. Find out what kind of courses you'll be taking then go to the library and start researching these subjects yourself. You must be a pretty smart kid, so use that brain of yours and stay calm.

I have a 16-year old in college right now. The first thing you're going to have to learn is grammar, punctuation, spelling, and general composition. I know the Internet is an informal forum. People tend to let their writing abilities slip in an informal forum. Informal slips in college result in an F.

Most of the pressure you refer to is caused by your imagination.. Why not leave all the anticipation for when you get there.. it isn't really as bad as you picture in your mind.
