I never choose anything. I've just been me all of my life, and when I got older I figured out that bisexual was the word for people like me. It was really that simple. I'm very happy being myself and I would never want to change for the world.

Born that way. No one made me gay, just like no one made you straight (if indeed you are, if you're not, no offense, I'm just assuming) There are times I like it and times I don't. When I'm with the friends I can trust and be myself around them I'm fine with it. It's when I have to go home to the parents that I feel depressed. I really want to tell them but on the other hand I have a big fear of disappointing them. I don't think they'd be disappointed just about me being gay, rather, more so becuase of grandchildren being put off for a while. It's tough. I don't know how to break it to them. But once you utter those words there's no going back, so when I do tell them I'm coming out of the closet with a bang (no pun intended) In other words, I'm just going to tell everyone. If I tell my parents and they're ok with it then that's all that matters to me. I don't care if I lose all my friends, cuz if I do, then they weren't my friends to begin with. If I lose my parents though, it will be severely disturbing.

Wow, when you asked this question, didn't Yahoo refer you to the many many other times it has been asked?
We are born this way. Nobody can make you gay, though the actions and reactions of others can help you to be open, or encourage you to be private about your homosexuality. And finally, while most of us agree now that we're here, we're happy as homosexuals, nobody would choose to be punished the way we are every day. Ridicule, lack of equal protection under the law in health care and estate rights, job and housing discrimination, and the fear of being beaten to death and left hanging on a fence post simply because we are gay. Come on!

i don't know...i started feeling attracted to girl/women in like junior high...i've always dated men though...and only till now (23) am i trying to figure out why i am attracted to both genders...guess i'm bi...but it's deff not a choice...the choice i think comes in whether you act on it or not...i haven't acted yet, but am very tempted...i guess it's something i've grown into...i'm a very sexual person...and want more then just men, but haven't decided if i'm gonna reach out for more...or hold back...
