My husband say's that what he meant was that "This isnt fair to my son-this guy has a house, he's younger than my son-how come David doesnt have the house across the street. This isnt fair. Husband says I took it the wrong way. Should I believe him or go with my original opinion?

Maybe you did take it the wrong way. I know how I am over my son and it doesn't take much for me to jump all over my hubby for the least thing when it comes to things he says to my son. So I would just let it go but I would keep my ears open. More the likely he didn't mean anything by it.

Belief ie to believe and you obviously don't believe him ( your husband) I say forget him and tell him to shut and get his own house. Tell him to stop talking about you son not having a house and HELP him acquire one.

I feel that if he really meant it this way the 2 of you would have had this in private instead of in front of the neighbor.I think your original opinion was right.

depends, does he get caught in lies allot? I would just let it go. If he says anything else to direspect him then I would have a problem.
