Definitely not and I would say that more times than not it is a symptom of another mental disorder or of drug use. I've seen patients with depression and anxiety issues exhibit paranoia. Schizophrenia is MUCH more comprehensive than just paranoia. It includes several other symptoms which must persist for quite awhile.

Paranoia is a symptom of schizophrenia, but does not always mean because you are paranoid, you will become schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a brain disease, paranoia is a mental condition.

Yes, paranoia can be a sign of schizophrenia but it is not restricted to that condition. Paranoia can be a sign for many things including , drug abuse, criminal behavior, and etc....... Really need a trained person to decipher.

Nope, its definetly not always a sign.
There are mood disorders as well.
There are several disorders that have that as a symptom. There are also different types of schizophrenia with many different effects on the personality...
And...... Substance induced paranoia..... And.... stress induced.......... etc....

No, but one can have both mental illnesses. Paranoia is not a symptom. It is in itself a mental desease caused by for example drugs etc.
