I have my c section and tubaligation in the morning. Seems like I've been pregnant forever with this baby...so its weird to know that my "reproductive days" will be gone. I feel kinda sad yet relieved at the same time.
Leave a comment if you have one, and get some points...I will choose a best answer before I go to hospital.
Those that are due around now and feel like there is no end in sight...remember that no woman has stayed pregnant--it does come to an end....a joyous birth.

Congratulations. Here's to sleepless nights, midnight feeds and smells you didn't think were possible! You'll love it, I promise! Just think too, no need for contraception, and can just jump on (when you have the energy - birthdays & Christmas it is then ;) )

Oh I wish you much luck~ U are having the same procedures as myself~ Its a tough thing to do but we mean well~ U feel me. We can't keep being put in these situations be it portected or unprotected~ U feel me. I am so clingy with my youngest child my son who is 6. I got my tubes tied 3 years ago. The weird feelings aer these when you see a infant you want to be all lovey dovey and the child is not yours. Yes, u do think about it such as damn I will never feel like a WOMAN again~ U feel me. I am not sure as to how to describe this and I am still dealing it gets better with time. But you will miss the womanly duties of child birth~ The whole feeling of being pregnant and knowing that I can't get pregnant is such a RUSH~ In a good way~ I can have hot and steamy all day long and fear nothing of a baby coming. So it has its ups and down and its good and bad points. Oh yeah let me prepare you now, the doctors and nurses will keep saying the same thing before/during its time for you to be in the room for your tubialiagation. I swear its there law they have to keep saying it during the prepping. But you will be fine just do not rush this child to hurry up to grow up~ Cause the sad part will hit you, WE will not be able to have anymore. So enjoy and take plenty of pictures cause the metal part is a blower~ Okay~

I did all that two months ago. Well I had mine natural. I know how your feeling and tomorrow you will be the world's proudest parent. Cause for the first time you get to see the amazing wonder that you have created. My reproducing days are over as well but I'm glad. I have a little boy and a little girl. I couldn't ask for more. It's very true that a woman can not stay pregnant forever but it sure does seem like it. Good luck tomorrow and congratulations.

Congrats to you. I will be induced with my second child on Friday and also feel like I have been pregnant forever (I am 40 weeks and 4 days today). I am so excited to have this baby out and to see him. If I end up in a c-section I will also have my tubes tied since we dont want any more kids either. Good luck.

congratulations to you for finally making it. I am jealous. I am 23 weeks and can't wait. I love to be able to hold that perfect bundle of warmth. I love being pregnant to, but much love having the baby in my hands than in my tummy. I am very happy to you and hope you have a perfect delivery. Congrats on your delivery tomorrow !! I hope everything goes awesome for you, make sure when you come back to let us know how things went (cuz there are tons of regulars on this site).
You know, its funny, this time around I was talking to my husband about being 4 weeks pregnant, and I said, "oh my god, we only have 36 weeks left !!" whereas first time around the pregnancy DRAGGED on .. It felt like I was stuck at 26 weeks for months and months.

Congrats to you.I hope that you have a very safe and happy delivery!!! Enjoy every moment with your sweet bundle of joy. Now that you will be done feeling like you were pregnant forever it will feel like forever since you have gotten any sleep. It is all worth it, though!!

Congratulations!! I am pregnant with our third child, I'm not due until march 28th! SO LONG!! But after I have this one I am having a tubal too.

I had my tubes tied after my last three years ago and it's awsome not to worry about getting pregnant. Have fun with it.
