pieces of parsley on the plate at some restaruants?

Parsley is valued as a breath-freshener, due to its high concentration of chlorophyll, and has been proven to be the best counter for bad garlic breath. Personally, I have NEVER seen anybody use it for that reason.

For one thing it is to inhance the appearance of the food you are served...the green actually makes other colors look more intense. AND yes, you can eat, or at least chew it...it helps refresh breath.
The same thing goes with orange slices or lemon wedges that they use.

It`s all for the sake of presentation.If only they knew I can`t stand it.You always have to play with this green crap,it gets in the way of eating all of your other food.

Started out as a way to clean your breath. Now it is decoration.
Parsley eaten cleans your breath. Makes you kissing sweet.

no wait! its what grows on the ovens! when theyre cooking your food a little green plant grows on it and hey, u payed for it....

ive heard two diff reasons. one is to make it look good and the meal to come together,,,color wise. and the second ive heard that if you chew it ,,,it is suppose to get rid of that bad breath
