Yes. If you do not want those people to bother you, tell them to remove your number from their call list. Also, add your name and number to the National Do Not Call list by calling 1-888-382-1222. Your state should also have a number to call for this.

Use your search engine and type in national do not call registery and fill out their form. It will take a little while to get results, but it is worth the wait. I signed up over two years ago and have only had about 3 calls since then.

You can register your phone (cell, landline, etc). If there are violators, you can report them.

Keep in mind that charities are exempt and can call you anyway.
