I have been on birth control for a little over 5 years and trying to get pregnant with my 3rd child. I haven't stopped my period since. Can anyone help me with this.

It depends on how long your period has lasted. It is more than three weeks, see your Dr. Some women have to have a D&C done (non -obstetrical) which is a simple surgical procedure where they go into you uterus, remove all of the built up tissue that you continue to pass. This is a way of "re-setting" the uterus. This can aid is getting you back on a regular cycle and closer to conceiving. Good Luck!

See your doctor... you might have to go on some meds to stop it. I had my period for a month also and also trying to get preg. After being on BC for 4 yrs.. It was driving me crazy. However I did get preg a few months after that problem. Luckily I didn't have to go on any meds. Good Luck
