I can understand the concern, what I don't understand is why it is ok for us (the United States)to have these weapons and then get upset when other countries have them? Does it sound a bit odd to you that we won't trust anyone else but ourselves?
Who invented all this Nuclear buisness to begin with? Who discovered the nuclear bomb? Who made it? All that stuff.

We get upset when communist countries have them. North Korea has been and still is pissed at us and probably much of the free world. Why should be be okay with them testing nuclear weapons when they are a real threat to us and other parts of the world? We have these weapons but we are diplomatic and you don't see us nuking countries we don't like or agree with.

In case you really don't know, the United States developed the atomic bomb during WWII to be used against the Germans. It wasn't ready by the time Germany surrendered but it was used on the Japanese.
It's not odd or hypocritical to want to control the spread of nuclear weapons. They already exist in unstable parts of the world, Pakistan and to a lesser extent India. North Korea is dangerously unpredictable. I think the biggest threat is the legions of nuclear scientist in Russia who are willing to sell their services to the highest bidder. That's already happened with Pakistan's top physicist, the "father" of their bomb. He's a national hero yet he is under house arrest for selling state secrets.

The problem with N Korea having the bomb is that that they would use it.

Enrico Fermi invented Nuclear Fission
Rober Oppenheimer invented the bomb.

No country will use nukes in the future because they know
what will happen to them if they do such a crime.
Tyranic regimes like N Korea want nukes to terify others
not realy to use them (but it is not a good idea to let them
have them).

The list with the countries that used nukes
will have one member forever.

well, that is kind of like asking why some gang banga in the hood cant have rpg's and heavy machine guns and the us military can. Sure, we seem to be misusing them for the wrong reasons right now, but the chances are much much higher that the gangbanga is 100% gonna use them for something illegal.
