There are no actual "undefined" symbol. There are times that a symbol, like infinity (sideways 8) may be used to conclude a problem. But, these are used to ony indicate that the answers has no defined written form.

Well, when I had calculus and we came upon a problem that was undefined, our teacher would tell us to make a circle with a diagonal line running from the top right hand corner to the bottom left hand corner.

There are several. The ones I've personally had to use are the circle with the diagonal line through it and a backwards E with a line through it. I don't think there are any set standards in that case.
