You might as well wait until after the labor is over and the nurse is wiping the blood off the newborn babe. You wouldn't be much interested in food while you're having a baby. The hospital will feed you... something... and let your rest a few hours before dumping you and Junior out of the maternity ward bed and kicking you out the front door.

Definitely cut down on the caffeine. You are not supposed to have more than two cans of soda a day. Eat a lot of foods that contain folic acid. Other than that I could only advise you to just eat healthy.

If you're in the hospital having a baby you don't eat at all untill you have it. You might be in labor for 36 hours and you cannot eat you eat ice chips, because they don't want you having an accident (pee or poop) while delivering because you are pushing like you are number twoing.

Eat what you would normally eat. Cut out Hot Dogs, Bologna, tuna, sushi, ... I think that's it. Cut down to 2 caffine drinks aday and quit smoking. Drink milk, or ice cream... Enjoy being pregnant.

It's super tricky. You have to take the food, and then put it in your mouth and chew it. It's nothing like before, when you weren't pregnant. Have someone coach you the first time, so you don't choke!
