I am 24 years old. I just graduated from college and in the past year a lot of things have happened to me. I broke up with the only boyfriend I ever had. I stopped talking to my best friend of five years, because she said some toxic stuff. One of my friends died from cancer. The two friends that I have been hanging out with are dating. Or at least I think they are dating. They go out together without me more. And I am broke because some health bills came up. I just need advice on how to get a life?

Yes, doesn't it all come down at once? You have a life, you don't need to get one, and you can't start over. You have to take what you have and work with it. Graduating from college is a huge deal, take your degree and completely immerse yourself with job hunting and starting your career. Also, getting back into the dating world is exciting, especially after so long. Have some fun and focus on YOU. It seems like you have all this going on with so many other people, its time to focus on yourself, your goals and your future. Go out, have some find, meet new people. This is the next chapter of your life. Enjoy!

Sorry you broke up with your only boyfriend but maybe it was meant to be. At 24 you are still very young and have a lot of things to look forward to. The other friends that are dating just leave them alone. If they should get married you probably won't see them anymore, that's what has happened to me. You didn't say anything about work...if you have a college degree make up a resume and start looking for something. I miss my old job, I worked with some fun people. I liked coming home each day and feeling that I acomplished something....I helped a customer solve a problem etc. As to the money issues maybe you need some profressional advice, you don't want to mess up your credit rating. Without a good credit rating you can't rent a apt. or buy a car.

Try one thing at at time. Have you found a job that you like utilizing your degree? That's awesome that you graduated from college but it can also be scary. You worked all that time for the goal of graduating, now you have and now you have to find a way to put it to use. Maybe concentrate on your career first. You might meet people with similar interests in your new field/job.

You need to take it one step at a time. Go through your issues. First sit your friends down and ask them whats going on are they dating etc and get closer. Figure out how much you can pay on your health bills a week or month and call them and let them know. Put closer on your boyfriend if you aren't willing to work any problems you had out with him or your bf then you need to close that chapter. Figure out what your next move is with a job etc and go for it... LIFE is not easy you have to take it one step and a time.
