The Second Time Around
Pregnancy the second time, does have its differences. Despite the fact that you are a veteran, you will be in for some surprises, both physical and mental. Physically you will find that you experience a lot of the sensations of tugging, pulling and expanding about a month sooner than in your first pregnancy. This is because the uterus is less likely to yield having stretched before. While this sounds like a downfall, there are added benefits, like also recognizing fetal movements about a month earlier as well.

The first time I got pregnant it took a LONG time to get pregnant. I had missed my period by over a week when I finally realized it and took my test. Also, I ate A LOT, pretty much anything I wanted and gained about 65 ponds! The second time I got pregnant it happened the first month trying and I knew I was pregnant 5 days before I was even due for my period. I felt tightening in my stomach and knew I was pregnant! The second time I walked every night and ate right and only gained 30 pounds. It was very different from my first experience, much better for me the second time around! Good luck!!

I'm currently 23 weeks pregnant with my second baby. It's been totally different this time. With my first I didn't find out I was pregnant till two days after I missed my period. With this one I got a positive result 8 days before my missed period. Basically with my son I got heartburn twoards the end of the pregnancy. Oh this one though...I got/have sore breasts, morning sickness, back pain, heartburn, very sore pubic bone, very tired, I feel faint and have hot flashes, period like cramping for almost the entire time so far, constipation, etc...it's been a rough time. The entire pregnancy I've been worried that somethings been wrong because it's been so incredibly different. I like to look at a week by week guide to find out the development of the baby and changes in my body. It isn't a novel worth of material but it's neat to read. The site is www.storknet.com. Good luck!

With my second daughter, I knew before I even missed my period. My kids are only 22 months apart so I had barely gotten over the first pg when the second one landed in my lap...=-) I was way more in tune with what my body was doing and the signs to look for....
With my first daughter I had mild morning sickness and I gained very little weight. With my second little girl, I was sick day in and day out plus I packed on 40 pounds. I thought for sure it would be a boy...but God knew better and gave me my two angels.

I found out about the pregnancy about the same time as I did with the first one, about 4 weeks along. I had more morning sickness, and had more aches the second time.

1st - minor nausea, no longer something quite (stillborn 24weeks) second - no longer something lol, loved each and every second. My son change into an angel interior lol. commonly used aches and heartburn in very previous couple of weeks third - each and every symptom plausible higher the whole pregancy. My outfits were tight through 8 weeks. Vomitted from earlier I knew i change into pregnant to the day she got here into this international. extra hormones brought about pelvic instability. My cravings and eating conduct were similar with all 3. My son gave me the worst heartburn. My second being pregnant change into the foremost and maximum pleasant and change into waiting to savor. My third being pregnant change into so on the point of my second so as that would have contributed to my warning signs, no longer confident (fell pregnant even as son change into in worry-free words 4 months).

I noticed everything sooner when I was pregnant for the second time. It was because I knew what to look for. Delivery was soooo much easier, too! Labor was cut in half from the time my first took.
