Do you think you'd change?

Honestly.

Not 100% of the time, but from stuff you see on tv, sudden wealth seems to change people, often in a negative way.

How about you?

EDIT:

I think with me, I'd def' be happier to not have to work if I didn't want to, but w/ sudden wealth (esp. if came w/ media attention), I'd def' end up being very carefully who I made friends with...

hell yes I'd change! I'd change my job, my car(s) my house(s), my hobbies, my friends' and family's lives. I'd probably be more distrustful of strangers and new "friends". I'd travel more and give more to the charities that I care about. If it was enough money, it would change anyone.

I'm sure something about me would change. Can't imagine what it would be. Probably something about the way I am already would be amplified.

Like now I suck it up that I pay for a lot more stuff than my husband does because there is a HUGE difference between our pays... but I feel sometimes that he lives his life as if he made my money. (Like buys or does things with money that should go to the phone bill but he knows I'll always make up the difference.) So if something like that continued to happen, I'd probably make more of an issue then. And it would be negative, yes.

With my family and close friends I'd still be the same....just not around as much.

With other people I would be very distant because I would think they just wanted money....and most of the time I would be right.

I would say never but you know the saying,"never say never"

If I would win a large lottery, I would love to take a thousand and break it up in 20 and 50 dollar bills and hand it out to people I see fit! I would invest and give to my family,church...
I would pray that I stay sensible not to be greedy!

Of course it will change someone. I think it would be a good change for me because my husband and I could pay off our bills and not have to worry about them and we wouldn't have to work any more. He could fish all of the time and I could do nothing...lol.

The only thing it would change... is that I can pay off my student loans and I'll be able to continue with my education... and I won't have to worry if a loan will cover the cost of my tuition...

Besides treating myself to a few minor material things and making sure my family would be taken care of, it wouldn't change my life much.
The elimination of stress related to financial concerns would be a positive attribute.

Yes, it would change me. I would be alot happier, and I would help other people, that I am unable to do now.

usually it's not you who changes but the people around you....
And you have to adapt to those changes.... it sucks but circumstances do become different. For good and bad.
But hey, you're rich, who cares? lol
