I don't like taking pills to be honest because it's so easy to dehydrate yourself (by the time you're thirsty you're already dehydrated). But as long as I drink 10+ glasses of water a day, I don't get carry water weight. I say keep drinking the water. But if you do use a pill, do not stop drinking the water and be very very careful not to overdue it.

Go to a health food store and take an herbal diuretic (water pill) . If you're holding water, then drinking water is not going to help. My kidneys eff up, so herbal diuretics get me back to normal in like a day, if you take one every three or four hours. If you go to the doctor get a prescription for furosemide or lasix, that works a lot faster. But don't go too nuts or you'll dehydrate and end up in the hospital!!!
