Because if they can get an answer that is right it is an easy A+. But if you give them an answer that SEEMS reasonable but is wrong then the fun begins lol!

~*~I see your name is "30yearOld"....have you already forgotten that most kids (& a lot of adults, as well) will take the easy way out every time? And, if we "adults" let them, then their attitude is, "why not?".

Some people will most likely say, "Oh, let kids be kids! They need all the help they can get!". Well, if they're constantly given the answers they will not learn to work for what they want &/or need. And if they don't learn it as kids they will have to learn it as adults (that's much harder on them, as well as everyone else around them). OR.....they may NEVER learn a strong work ethic, & we don't even want to think about how that turns out for them or society in general!

So, the remedy would be for everyone to STOP DOING IT! But, I have an idea that that's not going to happen any time soon.

Because the youth of today expect the easy solution to everything. From ready prepared food to brain rotting T.V. programmes and quick fix pleasure in everything. So much more satisfying and good for the self esteem to actually work to achieve something. Or am I just getting old?!!

Because there are people on this site who enable them and answer their questions. Of course, the student learns nothing, relies on others for answers, and displays a character flaw called cheating.

Because they don't want to do their homework. It's not surprising. :) Because there are a lot of such students like these ones in the whole world.

several reasons
1) some have little parent supervison and guidance
2) some guinely need the help
3) some are too lazy to do it themsleves
4) some do it out of boredome (entertainment value)

They're lazy. But, I give them answers b/c they'll be so stupid, that my kids will totally DOMINATE them.
