Not anymore, except for special occasions (i.e. Guavaween, Gasparilla Night Parade).
Even with 7th open, I wouldn't drive through there. Palm Avenue is better.

No they don't close 7th down anymore except for Guavaween and Gasparilla night parrade. and some other smaller events.
Crime has not rose but it has not fallen either. You just have to be smart and keep a look out for trouble. Most problems are with the drunks getting in trouble.

I am reasonalby sure that they do not close the streets any longer. Crime has risen as well.
