I always think that if you liked and cared for someone enough to have a relationship with them, then those feelings will remain - peoples personalities don't change that much. However, you do need to give yourself and her a bit of time. The fact that she cheated on you probably means that she didn't feel as stongly as you or that the relationship wasn't going anywhere anyway. When you have come to terms with that, go ahead and be close friends. Its hard at first (especially when new people come into each others lives) but believe me, it can be worth it and you can have such a special relationship. (god, i feel like i've over answered there!!)

Same thing happened to me. I was in high school didn't know any better. I did remain friends with her because we had all the same friends and it was just easyer then hating her. I acted as though nothing had happened and didn't bug me at all well I was around her. The important thing to do is rebound, find new girls to chill with. Its was easy for me I played my X girlfriend that likes to get around just cheated on me card. I would "just want to hang out" (wink wink) with a girl. Act as though it was to early for a relationship or any thing like the sort. Girls bought it because it was kind of true and loved it. I would use lines like " For the first time I didn't think one bit about that that cheap scank for a whole night and the only reason why I just did is because I almost stepped in dog crap. I am really glad I got a friend like you. Then of course go for some tail. My boy Tucker Max said some thing that had always stuck with me. Love is Blind... Stupid People Say Love Is Blind, Because love or any relations of any kind is a calculation at least to a small existent. Those who don't see it that way get burned. And also remember Take Every Thing for what it is. Past behavior is a good indicator of future behavior. But not all ways. Good luck dude.

Want to know how to get your ex back? Change yourself. Don't worry about changing other people, worry about changing yourself. Go to https://tr.im/eFVPG

Once you do that then you can start to worry about getting back together with your ex, other wise you will find that you are fighting about all the same things and getting no where. Do what it takes and I promise things will work out in your favor.

The funny thing is I came to the realization that I had to change a little too late. After I was kicked out and after I was about to lose the only things that truly mattered to me - her love. A funny thing happens when we truly love someone and lose them. We do what ever it takes to get them back. For me I had to drop bad habits that had caused not only our relationship to sour but practically every other relationship I had had in the past. Not only with women, but with friends, co-workers, family, you name it.

Which is why I say to you as my ex at the time said to me, the only thing you can do is change yourself. Work on yourself and improve on the person that you already are. Drop the negative things in your life that don't belong there and you will see all of your relationships start to take off to new heights.

Sometimes you can and sometimes you can't only you can make your mind up on that one. But if you feel you can stay friends with her without ever throwing what she did to you back in her face then she could be a good person to talk to because you know each other so well.

Jaimie it somewhat is extremely attainable. in spite of if for a speedy time it may be somewhat complicated. yet i comprehend from journey that my ex-spouse and that i stay good buddies to at present time (in spite of the undeniable fact that it took a while to realize we nonetheless could be buddies) and could do something to help one yet another if needed. we are the two remarried and the two our companions get alongside with us basically nicely too, my cutting-edge spouse particularly provides ex a hug while they see one yet another. existence is basically too short to lose buddies who have been as quickly as fans.

As long as you don't try to use the friendship as a way to get back together then there should not be a problem

Why would you want to be friends with her? She cheated on you remember. I wouldn't recommend it as i believe that once you have had an intimate relationship with someone it is usually very difficult to revert back to being just friends.

If you are able to forgive her for cheating on you, then i would say be friends with her but dont give her too much trust, she has proven that she is not trustworthy.

If she doesn't want to get back together, then you're better off letting go, because you want more it'll only hurt...
