He is 50 and i am 41.he doesnt have children he isnt seeing any one or talking to anyone about any of his feelings, he does have a secret....he is in debt does that help anyone and hid the letters cos they are coming in now. Does he hate himself and not me? he also emails me every day.

Being in debt can lead to depression and this can lead to not talking to anyone. People in debt can also feel like a failure and as the bills mount up they can hide them and try to ignore them but they also feel in despair when they do think about them. You can try and join a support group so you have people to talk your feelings over with.

if his debts are that bad that he can't handle them ,then he may well be suffering from depression especially with all the reminders coming through the door,
but i think there is a law in the uk which states if you are a depressive and it is proven then the deptors have to leave you alone as they are making your illness worse and can make you suicidal
go to the c.a. b. and they can put you in touch with a dept manager who can sort the whole mess out for you.
