Most presidents happily ask advice of all the living ex-presidents on big issues.Pappa Bush knows a great deal about Iraq. Why did baby Bush not admit to asking his father for advice?

Cause this nut job actually thinks he is the second coming of Christ (the burning "bush" etc) He has told many others including other heads of state that God has spoken to him directly! You know damn well that Bush Sr is in the next room speaking through a walkie talkie and Jr thinks GOD is speaking to him.

He knew that "Poppy" Bush would say to stay out of Iraq, and he knew he didn't want to follow that advice, so he didn't ask. His "heavenly father" always tells him what he wants to hear!
