Do your own homework.

But I'll give you one. Insecurity. They prey on the insecurity of teenagers e.g. spot creams. They make you feel like you are a leper and that boy will just not look at you if you have a spot but you can get rid of it with their cream.

as a Graphic Designer I would have to say, Pier Pressure and Coolness! (yes i know it sound daft) but 99% of teenagers in the 13-16yo categories still want what their peers want and want to be seen to have what famous piers have ie

want to sell trainers get beckham to wear them!

want something to appear as the big next new thing IE comp game of mobile ring tone, get parents to hate it.

if Kate moss wore highteck every girl in the country would want a pair.

and if advertised a cardboard box on TV and got a reaction from the parents of "oh my god what next" kids would want it! Why?
Punk logic! its new its diff rent and my parents hate it!

It is important to generate fresh insights and avoid using the same appeals and positions as others.A good ad normally focuses on one or two core selling prepositions. The advertiser should conduct market research to determine whcih appeal works best with its target audiance.
