well, love is not a feeling, it is a choice.
You can love anyone and everyone.
there are feelings of admiration... which is like, when you cant stop thinking about them, and you feel all tingly when you see them, and you want to be in there arms, and you admire them and love there personality and can see yourself spending the rest of your life with them, etc.
all these things come out of feelings. out of your mind and body, what you feel makes you feel like your in love.
but the only person you truly love, is the person you marry. Coz they are the one you choose... and love is a choice. a choice to be there for someone, help them, treat them right, commit to only them forever. Choosing to stick by someone through good and bad, no matter what.
if you love someone based on feelings, then you can fall out of love... coz if they upset you, or insult or annoy you, you all of a sudden dont love them anymore. or if you get bored of them, you decide you werent in love after all. Love based on feelings is unstable and is a recipie for disaster. Feelings are important, and play a big part in deciding to Love someone... but they are not love itself.
when you make that choice, you are in love.
Love is an awesome thing, but the world has made it so cheap, based on feelings, it is just something that comes and goes and changes. based on a choice, it is stable, loyal, patient, good, better! and reliable.

Listen to the song, the Power of Love by Jennifer Rush or Celene Dion. If that does not pack a punch, it aint love.

You know when your in love because you don't have to ask anybody, you just know. I used to get really peed off when people used to say that to me but the 1st night i met my husband i knew i was going to be with him for the rest of my life.

You know a funny thing i was getting married to another bloke and my dad ask me did i love him,,,,, I said i don't know,, so he told me i did'nt love him. When i met my hubby i knew then what he meant. As soon as i kissed him i knew he was the one

my personal experience is~ i really liked this guy loved being with him, when he brushed past me i could literally feel small electrical shocks running up my arms, i knew i was bang in love with him when i let him cook a steak at my house in my frying pan (staunch) veggie!! anyway i married him in July this year on a sri lankan beach.
