Depending on how much money it is, you probably have to take him to small claims court. Make sure you properly serve him, if he doesn't show up to court, then the judgment will go to you. Once you get a judgment, you can attached his wages or put a lien on his property.

How much money?

If below $2000 then you can take him to small claims court and represent yourself or hire a lawyer.

One of you will be ordered to pay the court costs which will be around $70-$150.

If you are not talking about very much money, you might just forget about it and move on.

You have to file for small claims court. I'm not exactly which county court you will have to go through so I would check with someone that may know possibly a lawyer. Then he has to be served the papers to appear in court. Take him to Judge Mathis or Judy!

Sue him, call the lawyer ask him to get a hold of your boyfreind for you and let him know how serious you are about it.

Chances are THIS way, it won't even go as far as court.

Depending upon how much he owes you, you can take him to small claims court. You don't need a lawyer and it's pretty cheap.
