I've been seeing him for 15 months, I have been married, and have a 6 yr old daughter. I really like him, but I want to get serious, I kn ow he likes my child, and he says he really loves me, and enjoys being with me. When he gets home from work he comes over to our house and will stay and eat dinner with us, watch movies, tv, wahtever else were doing at the time. Go to my parent's house, everything that says he really likes me and my daughter. He will even spend the n ight with me, or we will spend the night with him, but when will it go past this. I feel like I am somewhat spinning my tires, and not going anywhere. I want to get serious, and don't know how. I feel that if he isn't in it for me and him, then he needs to let me find someone that is wanting to be serious and let me move on with my life. i need someone to help me raise my daughter, and be there for me. i really like h im, but how much is too much time, and what should I do? Serious answers please.

Take your time. I know how hard that is. I have been in the same situation. You feel like you should get more serious because he is around your daughter and in your house. But take it slow because sometimes the person can still turn out to be someone you may not want to be too serious with. And you need lots of time to make sure that someone is special enough to be around your daughter long term

Try asking him what he expects. You maybe surprised. Sounds like moving in together would be the next logical step.
