If you are married, is it ok for your wife/husband to give out their number to old girl/boy friends (of the opposite sex), tell them you will text them or call them the next day, when they are not really friends since high school?

depends on the kind of person the wife/husband is.
I mean, if the person has always been outgoing
and friendly.... then probably yeah.
still.. it might make the spouse paranoid.
and as we all know,being paranoid in a marriage is like, the best thing ever!

I think it's totally fine to want to catch up with old friends, whether same or opposite sex. As long as catching up is all there is.

I wouldn't be comfortable with and neither would my wife if I did the same. You need to lay down the limits of what you'll except. Those limits if reasonable need to be respected.

Marriage has to have trust or it wont survive. My wife has numerous male friends I trust her to not get into a situation that may jeopardize this trust

I DONT THINK THAT MOST PEOPLE WOULD THINK THAT IS OK. ONE INNOCENT MOMENT USUSALLY LEADS TO TROUBLE.
