Each decade had something unique about it. The 60s was goody goody & political. The 70s (my personal favorite) was about having a good time, dancing and fashion. The 80s was calmer music and didn't seem to get too concerned with any one thing, people were trying new thing musically. Rap & metal were born in this decade. The 90s was very musical. The birth of boy bands, more sampling of music, and come backs. 95 was a good year of music.

Definitley the 70's. Best decade for music ever-so disco!! 70's also provides the best music for family get togethers cos they're such party tunes! 80's was pretty cool wi all the synthesizers and the bad clothes but nothing will every beat the 70's. you just gotta look at what came out of the 70's to know that - Slade, Earth, Wind and Fire, Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate, T-Rex, Sweet the list is endless
