There's a nice lake in downtown Columbia that is great for bike riding and walking. I lived in Columbia only for six weeks and don't remember the name but it's right in the middle of Columbia.

I just looked it up -- it's Lake Elkhorn Park.

the excellent park (additionally the closest to you) is located the place Ellicott city ends and Columbia starts. it rather is spoke of as Centennial Park and is located on the intersections of Centennial Lane and Clarksville Pike (Rt 108). it rather is easy accessibility from Rte. 40 by Centennial Lane, or from Rt 29. it rather is unquestionably a could see! yet another decision (located in Columbia) is Lake Elkhorn Park located at Brokenland Pkwy and Snowden River (in Owen Brown). The correct Lake (Lake Kittamaqundi) which became already suggested, and is located in the time of from Columbia Mall... yet rather no longer sufficiently huge for strolling.
