It seems like pathetic entertainment for insignificant people...people that are such friggin' wusses that they have to force animals to fight.
I would think it is the same as someone who gets the urge to tie two cats to the ends of a rope and throw them over a clothes line so they fight to the death.
I'm just trying to understand humanity and different cultures...

That's a good question. I don't understand any animal fighting. Although, I do find it entertaining when my cats wrestle, but they're just playing, not trying to kill each other.

its the same as pitbull fighting etc and I hate it all- why put animals in a death match cage for our own entertainment? it proves nothing about us except that we are easily amused. It shows no strength of owner, etc. it's all about the animals and there is no reason to do it.

Money. They bet on the fights, similar to pit fighting with Pit Bulls in th U.S. I saw on T.V. where in one country (I don't remember where) they were using horses.
