I'd like to know of schools in larger cities with good, comprehensive master's degree programs in theatre performance. Perhaps in Texas?

UT at Austin. Pretty much most of UT's programs are top notch. If you want more info, follow this link.

or St. Edward's University in Austin TX (heard it's great).

The University of Cincinnati College Conservatory has the highest employment rate of any musical theater program in the country.

If you want the best, definitely Juilliard. But you already know that.

Yale. Northwestern. The Tisch School at NYU. Juilliard.
Texas? Nope.

it's not in texas, but look up CCM (college-conservatory of music) in cincinnati ohio.

look at tisch in nyc as well.
